Asssistant Manager – Residential home

Our clients Care home is an elegant, spacious Georgian residence set in two acres of beautiful gardens in a North Dorset village.
Due to their expansion they are currently have recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join their team. They are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic person who will be responsible for the co-ordination of all aspects of residents our care. The role will involve working in the office with the Home Manager 3 days per week and 2 days per week in the care setting.
As the Assistant Manager you will be responsible for assisting the homes manager to deliver the best care to our clients.

Essential criteria
NVQ level 3 or above
Strong IT skills
Experience and an understanding of residential care
Strong understanding of Care Quality Commission regulations
Personal skills
Ability to care and support others
Excellent communicational skills
Strong communicator and influencer
Reliable and trustworthy
Ability to lead and work well as part of a dedicated team

Hours are 36 hours per week over 5 days, 3 days in the office 2 days in the care setting, there will be some evening work and a weekend rota between you and the home manager.
